August 7: A Galleon message from Luna

August 8: An owl from Parvati.

August 9: Neville sends owls to Parvati, Padma, Lavender, Ron, and Su Li and a Galleon message to Luna.

August 10: While waiting for the rest of the Malfoy trials, Luna and Neville meet to catch up (and possibly go Kneazle shopping).

August 15: House meeting at the Nook

August 26: Neville sees Su Li at work.

August 27: Owl from Harry., then Meeting Harry.

August 28: Owl from Hermione.

Sept 1st: Back to school on the Hogwarts Express (Luna, Dean)

Week 1 Summary.

July 31: Working in the greenhouses at Hogwarts, Neville takes a break to eat lunch and look at the classifieds for vacant properties.

August 2: A owl from Lavender asking about the house hunt.

August 2: Neville does some property viewing then tells his Gran he's moving out.She disapproves of the idea of girl housemates but Neville is havingnone of it.

August 2: Neville replies to Lavender letting her know he's seen a property and asking if she wants to come along when he views it properly.

August 2: An owl from Luna.

August 3: Ministry Owl re N.E.W.T's

August 3: More owl post from Lavender re house share.

August 3: Neville replies to Luna's owl.

August 4: Neville sends Lavender an owl and DA Galleon message on short notice about house viewing.

August 4: An affirmtive Galleon message from Lavender.

August 4: Neville meets up with Lavender and Parvati at the Three Broomsticks for their house viewing appointment.

August 4. Neville calls in at Weasley Wizarding Wheezes and catches up with Ron mentioning the houseshare. He gets invited to dinner at the Weasley's.

August 5. Neville goes to dinner at the Weasley's and catches up with Harry mostly.

Seven things about Neville Longbottom

1. Neville can convincely dress himself in muggle clothing, however he ends up looking a bit out of place as his clothes (some of which belonged to his father and the rest of which were bought by his Gran,) are just a bit out of date. Neville does dress in these out of school rather than robes, they're more practical for gardening etc.

2. Neville has prefered the Quibbler to the Daily Prophet since he was about thirteen, he didn't always believe all or any of it but he thought it was more entertaining to read than the Prophet. Now he reads both (or will when the Quibbler is out again.)

3. Neville's favourite biscuits are custard creams and he actually prefers the taste of canary creams to ordinary custard creams but feels that really it's not worth the mess when you moult.

4. When Neville got Trevor, his Great Uncle Algie asked what pet he would like and he asked for a toad.

5. Neville knows Snape wasn't evil now but he's still a tiny bit resentful, he knows he can learn with a good teacher and does sometimes wonder if he would have done so badly at Potions if Snape hadn't been such a bully.

6. Neville has been pretty vocal about his hatred of Bellatrix Lestrange, but really he hates Barty Crouch Jr more. Neville won't talk about his meetings he had with Poly juiced Moody fourth year because he's horrified he confided in him and that he was pretty much used. Sometimes Neville worries he can feel so strongly about someone who's pretty effectively

gone.

7. Neville used to try pretty hard to fit in, but not so much now. You don't have to like the same things to be friends or make a difference. (Neville realised this in large part due to Luna's example and Harry's influence.)
